Amid Harvey Weinstein‘s sexual harassment and assault scandal, Matt Damon, along with Russell Crowe, were claimed to have killed an expos├â┬⌐ on him in 2004.
The Jason Bourne actor denied doing so, saying he had no idea what the article pertained to when he was asked by the movie mogul to defend Fabrizio Lombardo, the then Miramax Italy head who was alleged to have helped Harvey procure women.
Jessica Chastain, who has fiercely been speaking out against theproducer, is now coming to Matt’s defense!

Following the A-lister’s interview to clear his name, the starlet took to Twitter on Tuesday to defend her former costar:
