The feud is over.
As we reported, Natalie Portman apologized to Jessica Simpson for saying she was “confused” by a 1999 bikini photo of the singer when she was still a virgin.

The Vox Lux actress “didn’t mean to shame [Jessica],” and believes “a woman should be allowed to dress however she likes.”
According to an ET source on Thursday, Simpson was “really hurt when she read Natalie’s comments” but is “appreciative that she clarified what she meant by it.”
(The thespian said she was simply “confused” by “the media’s mixed messages about how girls and women [are] supposed to behave.”)
The insider adds:
“It’s very important to Jessica to be a good role model and to be supportive of women.”
Simpson is currently pregnant with her third child.
