Jessica Simpson adorably flubbed her vows to Eric Johnson on Saturday at her San Ysidro Ranch wedding — and it was a giggle fest for guests!
Jessica’s father, Joe Simpson, officiated the lavish ceremony with over 250 attendees…
So the pressure was on for Eric and Jess to perform clearly and calmly during their spoken portion of the event!
When Eric began to recite his vows, he choked up and had to begin again — which only made the 33-year-old singer more nervous about what she had to say!
This resulted in Jess saying her own name instead of addressing Eric…which made the crowd erupt into laughter!
Following the silly ceremony, the couple released a statement to People about their big day:
“We are overwhelmed with complete happiness and love having made our eternal commitment. To say ‘I do’ in front of family, friends and, most importantly, our children has been the happiest moment of our lives.”
After an epic 80-month engagement and two pregnancies, we wish this AH-Mazing couple a lifetime of happiness!
Goodness knows they’ve been through so much already!
