See, Jessica! Things are looking up!
Last month, Jessica Simpson was reportedly devastated when she got snubbed for a judge’s spot on X Factor US.
Despite losing out on that job, Jessica will still be returning to TV as a celebrity mentor on the new NBC reality series Fashion Star.
On the show, she’ll “mentor aspiring designers as they compete for the chance to win a multi-million dollar contract to launch their own brands.”
Given the fact that she has SUCH a successful clothing line, we’re thinking she’ll be great for this, and it looks like NBC and Universal Media Studios executive vice president Paul Telegdy feels the same way:
“With an almost billion-dollar lifestyle brand under her belt she is sure to be an excellent mentor to our up-and-coming designers.”
Jessica will work alongside former model/fashion mogul Elle Macpherson, who will be hosting the show.
Congrats on the new gig, Jessica! We’ve got a good feeling about this one!
