Jessica Simpson is finally ready to address the haters and mommy shamers!
The star finally spoke out this weekend about a recent mommy shaming incident she’s been going through, nearly three weeks after initially posting the video that drew all kinds of controversy and comments from parents around social media.

A couple weeks ago, Jessica posted this video (below) to her Instagram account, showing her son Ace jumping into a pool with a cast on his arm:

Predictably, a HUGE segment of the social media world flipped out upon seeing the video, and spent a good portion of the last few weeks criticizing Jessica for even allowing her son to be in the pool while injured.

But on Saturday night, Simpson struck back.
Speaking to Extra at the launch of one of her new beauty lines in El Lay, Jessica noted about the video (below):
“I posted Ace in the pool with a cast on because there is really no stopping a child, that’s him, he only has to have the cast on for three weeks, he was in the pool that day. I don’t even know if the cast molded on to him yet. Listen, it makes him happy and it’s kids being kids. He is in my husband’s hands. I know he’s okay … If people were in that situation, if they had a husband like mine, they would feel comfortable.”
So there you go — not taking anybody’s bull shit!!
