Throw away all your Lululemon leggings — Jessica Simpson‘s making active wear!
The businesswoman, who has one of the most lucrative fashion lines ever, is branching out into the exceedingly popular athleisure industry with an upcoming collection of workout clothes.

A sketch (above) of some of the styles shows some functional pieces with lots of colorful patterns.
And as a fitness devotee herself, it makes sense that Jess would want her brand to also include sports bras and leggings, etc.
Her mom Tina Simpson, who is the brand’s creative director, said:
“Whatever was going on in Jessica’s life at the time, we said we should be there. We had been looking at active for a bit, trying to find the right partner. Jessica works out every day ├óΓé¼ΓÇ¥ pretty much an hour-and-a-half every day.”
Now she won’t have to wear Lululemon anymore! Supposing she wears that, of course. We have no idea.
The active line will be available at Macy’s and macys.com at the end of October, with prices ranging from $24 to $49.
The main fabric used in the pieces is known as Extraordin-Air, “a polyester-spandex blend that incorporates both sweat-wicking capabilities and four-way stretch.”
Which sounds very fancy indeed!
