Jet Li fans will be happy to hear this.
As we reported, the 55-year-old actor has been suffering for the past decade from hyperthyroidism as well as a heart condition. The combination has drastically aged the once-buff, dynamic film star to the point where fans are now shocked upon seeing the latest fan photo of him.

In response to the latest concern, the Romeo Must Die star’s manager Steven Chasman told the Washington Post on Monday:
“He has hyperthyroidism that he’s been dealing with for almost 10 years. It’s nothing life-threatening and he’s dealing with it.”
Chasman confirmed the most recent viral image of his client was in fact Li but argues that it’s just a bad photo of someone his age. He went on to call the coverage of the photo “sensationalism.”
We’re happy to hear it’s not life-threatening, but he has to understand why fans are shocked; it’s a big change over just eight years.
