Jill Duggar Dillard and her husband, Derick, are having a baby!
The ecstatic newlyweds and parents-to-be announced the gender of the baby to their family at an ultrasound last Saturday.
Jill gushed:
“Oh yes, there was some screaming in the room. I thought all along we were having a girl. Everyone made their guesses.”
Given the size of the Duggar fam, there must have been A LOT of guesses! We wonder who chose BOY!

Hubby Derick added:
“I was really excited. As a new dad, to have a firstborn son to be our first child and be the leader of his siblings, it is very special.”
Whoa, Derick is already talking siblings?! We guess Derick plans to take after his in-laws!
The couple also revealed their plans to forgo a letter themed name for their baby boy — so don’t expect a name that starts with the letter J!
Congrats on your baby boy, Jill and Derick… even if this IS coming on the heels of some controversy.
