Sure, sure. Misquoted. It’s what they all say!
Recently, Jillian Michaels was quoted saying she would never get pregnant so she could preserve the slamming stomach she has worked so hard to get. Actually, to be completely accurate, what she said was:
“I’m going to adopt. I can’t handle doing that to my body. Also, when you rescue something, it’s like rescuing a part of yourself.”
Cold, but we get it. It seems, however, other media outlets didn’t and ran wildly with the story, claiming Jillian said she won’t “ruin” her body with a baby.
According to Jillian, who admits is “heartbroken” by the misquote, the media has overly exaggerated the comment and she would never make such a strong statement against a “choice” women make. She says:
├óΓé¼┼ôI├óΓé¼Γäóm disappointed about the way that my words have been twisted by the media. ├óΓé¼╦£Heartbroken├óΓé¼Γäó is actually more the word I├óΓé¼Γäóm looking for. I support all women in any and every endeavor they choose and I wish that they would do the same for me.”
Get used to it, bb! This maybe the first, but it won’t be the last time your words get twisted.
