Jillian Michaels & Heidi Rhoades Are Rushing Their Wedding Planning Because Of Donald Trump

Jillian Michaels is tossing aside any fancy wedding plans she had up her sleeve, because she urgently wants to get married before January 20.
In a new interview with GO!, the fitness guru explained she and Heidi Rhoades are rushing to tie the knot before Donald Trump and his Cabinet strips them of their federal right to get married.

The 42-year-old revealed:

“We were going to plan something for summer of 2017, and now I think we’re just going to City Hall in the next couple weeks.”

Honestly, we don’t blame them. It actually sounds like a smart move on their part.
The brunette beauty is hoping that if she and her longtime love tie the knot before the Republican’s inauguration, they’ll be able to retain their rights, even if Mike Pence does his best to repeal marriage equality:

“I don’t trust├óΓé¼ΓÇ¥neither one of us trust anything that’s coming out of [Trump’s] mouth, and our concern is that├óΓé¼ΓÇ¥we’re hoping, and again, we don’t fully understand, but we’re hoping that if we’re already married, you get grandfathered in. Like the couples that were married and then they passed Proposition 8 and then the people that were already married got grandfathered in.”

The exercise queen confessed that Heidi already applied for their California marriage license, explaining they aren’t willing to take their chances under President Trump:

“We have 15 days├óΓé¼ΓÇ¥we have to pick it up in person, so I think we’re just going to go to City Hall because time is now of the essence. Like I keep seeing all these people on Facebook saying ‘Oh no, he’s going to give it back to the states.’ And I’m like what do you think that means? It means the majority gets to vote on the rights of the minority, which is totally unacceptable and you lose your federal rights.”

The fierce female is rightfully anxious about having such an unapologetically homophobic VP:

“Mike Pence is the number one anti-gay politician in the country right now. And he’s going to push a Supreme Court justice that may be too. Do you think he’s not going to bring this back to the courts? I’m sure they are. I’m so upset about this, and I’ve never been the one to get militant, but you know what? This pushed me over the edge.”

We are too, girl. We are too. We also think it’s such a shame that Jillian and Heidi can’t have the wedding of their dreams because they’re too afraid to wait in case their BASIC HUMAN RIGHTS are revoked.
