Jim Carrey mostly keeps to himself these days, but that doesn’t mean he’s called it quits on romance.
In a new interview with the Radio Times, the Kidding star admitted that while he enjoys living “an isolated life” at home, he still makes the time to go on the occasional date. He explained:
“I spend a lot of time by myself but I like being by myself, so it’s OK. That might be strange to some people, but I enjoy it… I love to read and I enjoy painting and working on sculptures… And I date.”
The Truman Show star has always been a sucker for love.

He was married to Melissa Womer from 1987 to 1995, then tied the knot with his Dumb and Dumber costar Lauren Holly in 1996 — a marriage that lasted only a year. Later on, Carrey was engaged to Renee Zellweger for a few years before he dated Jenny McCarthy from 2005 through 2010.
His latest public relationship was with Cathriona White, who was found dead from a prescription drug overdose in 2015.
A year later, White’s mother and estranged husband sued the actor for wrongful death; he later filed a countersuit, claiming the lawsuits were an attempt to extort him. The lawsuit was dismissed earlier this year.
Good to hear he’s still putting himself out there.
