Designer shoe label Jimmy Choo is making some pretty smart business moves.
First was their collection for H&M, then their 24/7 timeless shoe collection, and now the luxe accessories line is dipping their toe into the world of fragrance. Well, diving in is more like it.
Jimmy Choo has just signed a 12-year licensing deal with mega fragrance maker Inter Parfums SA, whose other clients include Lanvin, Burberry, Paul Smith, and Christian Lacroix.
Sounds like Jimmy Choo will be in good company!
Tamara Mellon, CEO of Jimmy Choo, said: “It has always been my vision to fully accessorize the woman, and fragrance is an integral part of the modern wardrobe. Through the association with Inter Parfums, I look forward to bringing this important aspect of my vision to life.”
Everything is still in the very early stages, but we can’t wait to catch a whiff of the perfume they produce!
