Jimmy Kimmel To Tickle Funnybones As Oscars Host In 2014?!

Is HIGHlarious chat show host Jimmy Kimmel being courted by the Academy to host the 2014 Oscars?!
He’s at least being considered for the honor!
One insider spills:

“Jimmy is favored to host the Oscars next year; ABC has been pushing him for the role.”

Unfortunately, it is just TOO early to even speculate about who might be offered the intimidating task of playing host to the BIGGEST awards show, like, EVER, as the Academy won’t even (officially) discuss such matters until they’ve voted in a new president.
But now that we know Tina Fey will NEVER host, we think Jimmy would be the next best thing (sorry, Tina is QUEEN!).
Unlike Seth MacFarlane whose made himself famous by creating very funny — yet often offensive — cartoons ridiculing celebs, Jimmy actually LIKES Hollywood and you can tell he’s a total film nerd!
Plus, his latest film project, Movie: The Move 2V was STUFFED with celebs, so you know he’s already got a warm following among the A-Listers!
We would DEF vote for Jimmy for Oscars host 2014!
