But Jimmy Kimmel‘s fight to preserve affordable health care is far from over, as many other children are at risk due to Congress letting the Children’s Health Insurance Program (CHIP) run out of federal funding.
Despite bipartisan support for the program in the past two decades, Congress has yet to renew funding for CHIP — which covers around nine million American kids whose parents don’t have access to affordable coverage through their jobs but still make too much money to qualify for Medicaid.

On his first day back hosting Jimmy Kimmel Live, the comedian brought little Billy out during his monologue on Monday night to tell viewers how they can help save this “life and death program for American kids.”
