Britney Spears‘ management team has again been called out for the amount of control they require when handling her appearances in the press, this time by Jimmy Kimmel, who had the pop star perform on his late night talk show last night, and received unfair backlash from fans who were disappointed when her bonus number, Big Fat Bass, wasn’t put up on his website!
He explained via Twitter:
To all experiencing fits of intense hissy because the @britneyspears bonus song was short, not our decision if it airs online – artist mgmt.
Maybe the leash around Britney should be loosened a bit????
How is she ever supposed to re-gain her confidence if everything she does and every interaction she has with the public and the media is micro-managed and monitored?
