A very sad story from several days ago is only just now coming out: Steve Buscemi‘s wife, Jo Andres, died at some point last week.
According to reports out in TMZ, Andres died either last Monday or over this past weekend — as it appears the funeral happened at their Brooklyn home on Tuesday, with her burial on Wednesday.

Per the reports, about 20 people were at the very private service to memorialize Jo, including a few of Steve’s past co-stars; afterwards, the FDNY blocked off the street as her casket was removed from the home and taken to her final resting place.
At this point, it’s still unknown what caused Jo’s death; she was 65 years old, and a filmmaker and professional choreographer in her own right.
She had been married to Steve fore 30 years. The pair has a 29-year-old son named Lucian, as well.
Whatever the case, it’s a sad, sad time for the actor and his family.
