Comedienne Joan Rivers never fails to make us laugh with her snarky and sassy sense of humor…but that doesn├óΓé¼Γäót mean she can’t get a little serious sometimes!
The funnywoman will soon be returning to her role as Francine’s grandmother Bubbe on PBS KIDS GO!├óΓé¼Γäós Arthur!
The 79-year-old will be lending her voice in the episode, Grandpa Dave├óΓé¼Γäós Memory Album, which aims to help kids cope with a loved one’s memory loss.
Bubbe tries to help the kids understand that their Grandpa Dave still loves them, despite his memory fading.
Joan recently stated:
“Working on my second Arthur episode was a lot of fun. I am proud to be associated with an organization like WGBH that works hard to educate children on trying social issues and family challenges such as a loved one’s memory loss.”
How super sweet of Joan to do!
Rivers is a mother to Melissa and grandmother to little 11 year old Cooper.
The episode premieres today in preparation for Father’s Day weekend, so be sure to gather the kids and tune in!
