Joan Rivers' & Robin Williams' People Covers Outsell Angelina Jolie By A Landslide!

Print media may be on its way out, but People magazine had three very special issues in the last few weeks that brought readers back.
On an average week, People sells about 822,000 issues.
The exclusive wedding photos of Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt (for which the mag reportedly paid a cool $2 mil) kicked that average up to about one million issues.
The tribute issue to Robin Williams did even better, selling about 1.2 million copies.
But Joan Rivers outsold them all. The cover story of her legendary life sold over 1.3 million issues! That’s an increase of over 60%!
We figure beating Brangelina is just about as Hollywood as you can get. And it’s just what Joan would have wanted.
