On Tuesday, the actor revealed his joke while on Good Morning America, saying:
“My life’s so boring, and it seemed like something exciting to talk about, and I wanted the audience to like me. They really like people getting married. I can get engaged again, if you like.”
Umm, you’ve won a Golden Globe, Joaquin! How is your life BORING?!
Now we’re curious to know if Dave was in on the prank — this wouldn’t be the first time the Her actor pulled a fast one on the late night host!
