Reports are surfacing this week suggesting that Rooney Mara and Joaquin Phoenix have taken their relationship off the screen — and are now an item!
Page Six reveals the 31-year-old and the Walk The Line actor “found love on the set” of their upcoming biblical epic Mary Magdalene, which was filmed in Italy last year.
Sounds like a match made in Heaven! LOLz!

We’re hearing that despite Miz Mara’s movie Lion being nominated for four Golden Globes on Sunday, she opted to instead spend time “holed up together in the desert” with the 42-year-old. Ooh la la!
However, Phoenix’s rep says the two celebs are “just good friends”:
“They worked on Her, Mary Magdalene and [their] next movie [Don’t Worry, He Won’t Get Far on Foot]. They are and have been good friends for quite a long time.”
As you may know, the Carol star has been connected to Charlie McDowell for about six years, but the two haven’t been photographed together since August. Neither reps had comment.
Hmmm.
