Hunter Biden has only been married a week, and already the newlyweds are facing a huge obstacle: an Arkansas woman claiming Hunter is the father of her 10-month-old baby!
According to the Arkansas Democrat Gazette, on May 28, 28-year-old Lunden Alexis Roberts filed a petition for paternity and child support against Joe Biden‘s son.
However, Lunden’s attorney, Clint Lancaster, said he has not been able to serve the 49-year-old papers.

Per the two-page suit, the pair “were in a relationship,” and that “Baby Doe” was born in August 2018 “as a result of that relationship.”
In August 2018, Biden was still in a fling with his late brother Beau‘s widow Hallie. He since began dating and married a new woman — reportedly after just 10 days.
Lunden herself declined to comment on the lawsuit or her ties to Hunter; Lancaster said his client “really values her privacy,” and “this is a parenting and child support issue between her and Mr. Biden.” He added:
“She really does not want this to be a media spectacle. She does not want this to affect Joe Biden’s campaign. She just wants this baby to get financial support from the baby’s father.”
Lancaster also remarked:
“We have been in contact with Hunter Biden’s attorney. We have attempted to work with Hunter and his attorney to settle this issue but that has not been successful. We are attempting to serve Mr. Biden.”
Ultimately, Roberts wants the court to acknowledge that Biden is the baby’s biological father.
In addition to child support, she wants him to provide health insurance for the infant, and for out-of-pocket health care expenses to be divided evenly. Roberts is also seeking fees, costs, and “all other just and proper relief.”
While the case was assigned to 16th Judicial Circuit Court Judge Don McSpadden, no court date has been set.
According to TMZ, days before Roberts filed her lawsuit, Biden secretly married a South African woman named Melissa Cohen in Los Angeles on May 16.
In early May 2019, Hunter and Hallie reportedly went their separate ways after two years together. News of their breakup came just a week after it was confirmed Joe Biden is seeking the 2020 Democratic nomination.
Back in 2017, the former Vice President confirmed his son and daughter-in-law’s relationship, telling Page Six:
“We are all lucky that Hunter and Hallie found each other as they were putting their lives together again after such sadness. They have mine and Jill’s full and complete support and we are happy for them.”
Hunter — who separated from estranged wife Kathleen Biden in October 2015 — also commented:
“Hallie and I are incredibly lucky to have found the love and support we have for each other in such a difficult time, and that’s been obvious to the people who love us most. We’ve been so lucky to have family and friends who have supported us every step of the way.”
We guess Hunter is a “lucky” guy all around…
