It’s a sad, sad day in music.
Singer Joe Cocker has died at the age of 70.
The raspy voiced rocker was best known for his cover of the Beatles’ With A Little Help From My Friends. The cover was known to many as the theme song to The Wonder Years.

Cocker also sang the hits You Are So Beautiful and Up Where We Belong.
His agent, Barrie Marshall, confirmed the sad news, calling Joe “simply unique” and saying “it will be impossible to fill the space he leaves in our hearts.”
Sony Music released a statement saying confirming that Cocker had died after a “hard fought battle with small cell lung cancer”.
Our condolences go out to his families and fans.
