Joe Jackson Drops Wrongful Death Lawsuit Against Conrad Murray

Joe Jackson is moving on with his life.
Michael Jackson’s dad filed a wrongful death lawsuit against Conrad Murray, who is currently serving four years behind bars for his involvement in MJ’s death, but just filed a request for the courts to dismiss the 2010 claim without prejudice.
It’s not clear why he came to the decision, but one of Murray’s lawyers said, “Cooler heads have prevailed.”
The Jackson patriarch still stands to make some dough from AEG if a judge agrees that the company breached its agreement to provide proper health care for the King of Pop during his final tour.
