Ya’ll remember Joe The Plumber, don’t you? He’s the all-American Ohio man who questioned then presidential candidate Barack Obama on his policies to protect small businesses and then became the poster child for John McCain’s failed campaign.
Since 2008,Samuel “Joe” Wurzelbacher, who is not a licensed plumber, has made good on his notoriety as a motivational speaker and author. However, Joe the Plumber is ready to take an even bigger step to help his fellow Americans.
He’s running for congress.
As of this past Friday, Joe has filed candidacy papers with the Federal Election Commission, and also registered a campaign committee under the name “Joe for Congress 2012.”
Ohio, meet your next House Representative!
Oh, you can bet on that. If his candidacy is accepted, with all the publicity he’s gotten, it’ll be a landslide to Washington!
