Joey King received nothing but love from fans last month after revealing that she’d once again shaved her head for a movie role. But not everyone has been supportive of her new bald look — namely, the man who feared that she might give him her “cancer.”
The 19-year-old took to Twitter on Sunday and revealed that she had sat next to a man on a plane who apparently thought she had cancer because of her bald head.

King claimed the man took a photo of her without her consent and proceeded to text his wife that he was scared to “catch” the disease because she had coughed.
Needless to say, the actress was stupefied by the man’s logic:
For the record… King does not have cancer; not every bald person has cancer; and, no, cancer is not contagious. You can’t catch it like a damn cold.
We write these obvious statements because some people apparently think otherwise. Or this guy is just a really tasteless joker, as King added:
Joking or not, The Kissing Booth star’s fans weren’t here for the cancer shaming. They sent countless messages of support, telling her she should be proud of her bald head.
We hope people learn something from King’s experience. Cancer isn’t contagious, but we can’t say the same for stupidity.
