John Cena and Nikki Bella‘s breakup may have shocked some fans, but their split maybe seemed inevitable given their differing views on one important topic: whether or not to have children.
While the 34-year-old had made no secret of her desire to be a mom, Cena had been even more vocal about NOT wanting kids. Ever.

When Bella brought up the idea of reproducing in a 2013 episode of Total Divas, the WWE superstar straight up said:
“I’m going to choose my words carefully├óΓé¼┬ª I can’t give you that.”
But in a recent press interview for the sex comedy Blockers, Cena admitted that playing a dad on the big screen changed his stance about wanting children. Though he didn’t explicitly state whether or not he wanted kids, the 40-year-old confessed that “you can’t ever plan for it” and “you can’t ever do it exactly right.”
If we were Nikki watching this three weeks ago, we’d see a man ready to walk down the aisle. But now├óΓé¼┬ª kind of seems like all talk for the camera.
