WTF?! This is like a real life soap opera!
John Driscoll of the Young and Restless has received a restraining order from a fan who claimed that he fathered her baby!
Driscoll says that the fan began telling people that she had multiple sexual encounters with him and when the rumors spiraled out of control, he was fearful that it could ruin his relationship with his fiance.
To prove that he was not with the woman and that he did NOT father her baby, he got a paternity test. He says:
“To silence these rumors, to gain credit back from both colleagues and family, I willingly took and paid for the lab testing on a paternity test which knowingly came back negative with a 0% match.”
He says that the woman is “clearly not rational” and worries that she might do something to him and/or his fiance. He’s asked a judge for a restraining order that will keep her 500 yards away from him AND he wants her to pay him back the $119 for the paternity test.
Unfortunately, John did not show up to court on Sept. 13 so the judge tossed out his petition for the restraining order.
Ummm, that wasn’t smart.
