John Edwards Found NOT GUILTY! Mistrials On All Counts But One!

Congrats, John Edwards! You’re off the hook …for now!!
Having been accused of soliciting almost a million from financial backers to help cover up his affair (and the baby that came with it) during his 2008 run for the White House, a jury reached a verdict today after nine days of deliberations!
On count three of accepting illegal campaign contributions from heiress Rachel ‘Bunny’ Mellon, the former presidential candidate has been found NOT GUILTY!
On the five other counts? The judge has declared mistrials on all of ’em!
It’s not clear whether or not prosecutors will fight for a retrial, but one thing’s for sure — he’s a lucky, lucky man!
