As you know, John Legend and Chrissy Teigen announced that their newborn son’s name was Miles Theodore Stephens — and now we know why!

Speaking to E! News at the Billboard Music Awards in Las Vegas on Sunday, the new dad of two explained the special reasoning behind the name, saying:
“We named our first daughter Luna Simone Stephens, and every name we give to our kids I think will have a little bit of musical history to it. So Miles, of course, is the same name as the great Miles Davis. And Chrissy really liked the name Theodore, so we put it all together and got Miles Theodore Stephens. When he came out and we hung out for him for a little, we were like, ├óΓé¼╦£He looks like a Miles.'”
We agree, he does!! The All Of Me singer went on to express his excitement for having a family of four:
“We’re so excited to have him in the family now. Chrissy’s excited, Luna’s excited, I’m excited. It’s nice to have a little family of four now.”
Of course, as all this was going on, Chrissy was back home being classic Chrissy as she posted a photo watching the red carpet with Miles held in her arms. She joked:
