Lionel Richie out, John Legend in!
Sounds like John will now be replacing Lionel on the upcoming ABC musical competition, Duets!
Back in March, Lionel announced he’d no longer be taking part in the show because of scheduling issues in promotion of his new album, Tuskegee.
In his place, John will star in the series alongside Kelly Clarkson, Jennifer Nettles and Robin Thicke, as they each scour America for the perfect duet partner!
Legend says:
├óΓé¼┼ôI├óΓé¼Γäóm thrilled to be part of Duets, and I├óΓé¼Γäóm looking forward to finding an undiscovered gem out there. This is going be a lot of fun.”
Though we were looking forward to seeing Lionel, we think John’s a pretty good fit for the show, as well!
Tune into Duets when it premieres on May 24 at 8pm!
