Pure insanity!!
The circumstances surrounding the death of Gregory Faull and the disappearance of “prime suspect” John McAfee grow stranger each minute!
The ultra-rich McAfee Antivirus founder remains on the lam in Belize, but he reached out to friendly media contacts and proclaimed his innocence.
John phone and e-mailed Wired, swearing he did not murder Gregory. He refuses to bring himself in for questioning however, because he believes the police conspire to murder him.
When cops searched his residence this weekend, John was in fact hiding out on the property. He says he buried himself in the sand to hide from investigators.
He claims:
“It was extraordinarily uncomfortable, but they will kill me if they find me.”
That sounds uncomfortable!
But why would the police kill him?!
John continued:
“Under no circumstances am I going to willingly talk to the police in this country. You can say I├óΓé¼Γäóm paranoid about it but they will kill me, there is no question. They├óΓé¼Γäóve been trying to get me for months. They want to silence me. I am not well liked by the prime minister. I am just a thorn in everybody├óΓé¼Γäós side.├óΓé¼┬¥
Yikes!!
John sold his antivirus company for $100 mil and relocated to Belize from the Sates several years ago. Since then, friends and neighbors point to a growing unsteadiness in his character born from abusing bath salts!!
Are John’s fears well-founded? Or the paranoid ramblings of a drug addict, we really don’t know!
So what’s his theory on his neighbor’s murder?!
The tech guru wonders whether it relates his dogs being poisoned. John reveals:
“I thought maybe they were coming for me. They mistook him for me. They got the wrong house. He├óΓé¼Γäós dead. They killed him. It spooked me out.├óΓé¼┬¥
We are all spooked out, guy!
Hopefully this whole ordeal is resolved without further bloodshed!
