We knew this was coming, unfortunately… we just didn’t think it’d happen this quickly.
On Saturday afternoon, just days after forgoing further treatment for his brain cancer, Senator John McCain (R-AZ) passed away at home, surrounded by family and loved ones.
He was 81 years old — Wednesday would have been his 82nd birthday.
After news of McCain’s death spread across social media and news outlets, politicians, celebrities, and public figures alike were quick to comment on the powerful politician’s passing.
