John Travolta Dons A Hair Piece To Play Danny Zuko 47 Years Later For Grease Sing-A-Long!

Nearly 50 years later, John Travolta is still the one that we want!

Fans of the classic movie Grease were in for a TREAT on Friday night at the Hollywood Bowl. While the Grease sing-a-long was in full swing, none other than Danny Zuko himself showed up to swing his hips with fans! The 71-year-old actor reprised his role for the first time ever since the movie premiered — and he looks SO good!

John slipped into the classic 1950s greaser look, donning a leather jacket, tight black pants, and a pair of boots. What made him almost unrecognizable, though, was his hair piece! These days, he usually rocks the clean shaven chrome dome look. But he put on some sideburns with a gelled quiff on top for his big surprise! Innerestingly, this time he went with a light blonde instead of his classic black.

In the caption of his Instagram post he made on Saturday, the Michael star wrote:

“Tonight at the Hollywood Bowl, for the first time I surprised everyone at the GREASE Sing-A-Long and dressed up as Danny Zuko. No one knew. Not even the cast. Thank you for a great evening.”

WOW!

In the video, John is joined by his former casemates Barry Pearl, Didi Conn, Kelly Ward, and Michael Tucci. Although you might know them better as Doody, Frenchy, Putzie, and Sonny. Director Randal Kleiser even took to the stage with them as John asked the crowd:

“LA! I thought you were going back to Australia? That’s cool, that’s cool, baby. You know, rocking and rolling and whatnot.”

Ha!

After a three-count, he joined in with the audience for a rendition of “a-womp-bop-a-looma a-womp-bam-boom” before waving goodbye and shouting:

“Enjoy the show. We love you!”

How fun! Reactions, Perezcious readers?
