The death of John Travolta‘s teenaged son, Jett, back in January is currently affecting the actor’s work, and rightfully so.
Travolta is supposed to be on the promotion trail for his new film The Taking of Pelham 123 with co-star Denzel Washington, but has not been able to work due to his tremendous grief.
Denzel talked to the grieving actor about two weeks ago and offered a shoulder for Travolta to lean on.
“More than talking to him, I listened to him for more than two or three hours,” said Denzel. “It’s going to take time. What can you say? Really, you just be there as a friend.”
He continued, “One moment he’s OK and the next he’s in tears.”
So sad.
