Robin Gibb Was 'A Real Friend' To John Travolta

We’re glad to see that John Travolta isn’t afraid to talk to the press, despite his most recent headlines.
The actor is deeply saddened by the death of Robin Gibb and released a statement that calls the musician one of the most “wonderful” people he’s ever met.
John had a lot of respect for the Bee Gee since he and his brothers were responsible for the soundtrack to Saturday Night Fever, the 1977 hit that put the star on the map.
Putting his personal problems aside, John told sources:

“I thought Robin was one of the most wonderful people — gifted, generous, and a real friend to everyone he knew. And we’ll miss him.”

He definitely died too soon, but at least he’s in a better place now. We’re sure Robin’s family appreciates the kind words, John!
