People went understandably ka-razzzy when they saw Johnny Depp getting hitched at the Ventura County courthouse on Thursday!
But was that really Captain Jack walking the plank aisle with Amber Heard??
Nope! Apparently Johnny has an impersonator running around out there! Well, not running around – he’s hitched now!
According to eyewitnesses, the wannabe Johnny really did get married! But then he didn’t correct fans who got the wrong idea; he even took pics with a few!
We’re not sure how everyone was fooled! It’s a decent enough costume we guess – he’s got the hat, the facial hair, the necklaces – but he’s not exactly a dead ringer for the Dead Man star!
We guess people just wanted to believe!
