The 52-year-old stopped by Friday’s Ellen to promote his upcoming film Alice Through The Looking Glass, and dished on the days before he got into acting — when he was still pursuing a career in music.
Reliving his youthful days, the actor admitted to playing in bars by the time he was 13 — though he was a bit taken back when the daytime host compared him to the 22-year-old pop star!

But after Ellen put up a side-by-side photo comparing a young Depp to the Biebs, he had a hard time refuting their resemblance!
