All good things must come to an end.
As you surely know, Johnny Depp and Amber Heard shocked fans this week when news broke of their impending divorce after only a year of marriage. So what happened?
Well, according to TMZ, the twosome’s relationship had become incredibly bitter due to the feuding between the blonde beauty and the Pirates of Caribbean actor’s family. Oh no!

Several sources have confirmed that the 52-year-old’s kids, mother, and sisters all openly talked about how much they “hated” Amber. To make matters worse, it’s said the family didn’t appreciate how the Magic Mike XXL actress would treat her man “like crap”. Ouch!
It probably didn’t help that earlier this year Johnny moved his momma Betty Sue Palmer into the El Lay home he shared with Amber. During this time, Betty Sue regularly dished to her friends that she thought Miz Heard was using the A-lister for his fame and fortune. We doubt Amber appreciated being called a gold digger on the regular… just sayin’!
Nonetheless, it appears that this tension arose due to the fact that Johnny had only seen his momma once between the time of his marriage and her moving in — a point both Depp and his mother blamed Heard for. You’re a grown man, we THINK you can make time for your mom even if your wife says no!
Sources have also added that Palmer and her daughter-in-law had TWO sit downs in order to mend the tension after the elder moved in. Obviously those meetings didn’t work, as after the face-offs Betty Sue went on to call the Texas native a “terrible person”.
Perhaps Johnny blames Amber for causing his mother stress before her death? We mean, The Rum Diary starlet DID file for divorce only three days after Betty Sue died. Huh!
That can’t be a coincidence, right?
