We guess they are OVER it!!
The always seks Johnny Depp confirmed this weekend that Keira Knightley and Orlando Bloom will NOT be returning for the new installment of the Pirates of the Caribbean cashcow franchise.
Depp, who is currently promoting his latest Tim Burton collab Alice in Wonderland, said this weekend:
├óΓé¼┼ôWe├óΓé¼Γäóre coming at it from a different angle at this point, Rob Marshall and [a] totally new take, it├óΓé¼Γäós a new story. I don├óΓé¼Γäót think we├óΓé¼Γäód ever throw too much Jack Sparrow in there. There will be a little bit of everybody.”
Well if those two are out, then a little bit of who else???
Apparently Geoffrey Rush will be back as Jack Sparrow’s frenemy Captain Barbossa and Pen├â┬⌐lope Cruz has signed on as a new character!!
We’re not too devastated that Knightley or Bloom will be sitting this round out. Neither of them their characters are that interesting so we’re curious to see where the story will go.
