Jon Cryer has definitely had his share of dramz.
He’s denied child support to his ex-wife Sarah Trigger, claiming that she didn’t deserve to get a single penny since she only looks after their son Charlie Austin 4% of the time.
In fact, the woman even tried to take a hit out on his LIFE, which prompted Jon to not only fight in court to give her absolutely nothing, but he also wanted to make sure she had NO money whatsoever so that she wouldn’t be able to pay her bills and lose her home. Yes, she definitely does seem to have the crazies, but she is after all, still the mother of his child.
Unfortunately, his appeal was denied and even though Sarah has very little parental rights over their son (due to the fact that the courts do not think she’s fit to be a parent), a judge told Jon that he must pay her $8,000 a month in child support payments.
The judge explained why Jon’s appeal was rejected:
“Although, understandably, Jon may have found the situation unfair, the primary focus must remain on the child’s well-being, not the parents’ feelings.”
The courts believe that if he did not financially help his ex-wife, it would have have a negative affect on Charlie.
This whole story is just so sad. We really do feel for their son. We hope the two of them can eventually get their shiz together for the sake of their child.
