You can’t turn on your TV lately without coming across someone talking about Justin Bieber.
But all of this coverage of his recent run-ins with the law is nothing compared to how The Daily Show handles the Biebs!
All Jon Stewart wants to know is:
“What the f*ck is wrong with Canada?”
LOLz!
To be fair, it’s not just Justin who is giving our neighbors to the north a bad name. Toronto Mayor Rob Ford’s admission to smoking crack sort of soured things as well.
But Jon’s beef isn’t so much with Bieber and Ford. He’s more upset with why the media is having a love affair with these two naughty Canucks while at the same time calling outspoken Seattle Seahawks player Richard Sherman a “thug”!
Stewart wrapped up his segment with some sarcasm, saying:
“Yeah that├óΓé¼Γäós right, Richard Sherman├óΓé¼Γäós a thug. The thugs aren├óΓé¼Γäót the dudes accused of actual violent crimes! It├óΓé¼Γäós the Stanford educated cornerback who talked too loud after the game. I can├óΓé¼Γäót imagine why. I just assume it├óΓé¼Γäós due to some deep systemic bias├óΓé¼┬ªagainst Seattle.├óΓé¼┬¥
