Jonah Hill is apologizing for his gay slur, and this time he’s doing it exactly right.
He went on The Tonight Show With Jimmy Fallon and didn’t wait; he just opened up by explaining how he was wrong.
Jonah explains he chose a “grotesque” word that he thought would be hurtful in the heat of the moment, not meaning it in a homophobic way, BUT– how he meant it doesn’t matter because the word itself now has a cruel weight to it.
Also, the fact that he’s using this incident to try to help educate young people on what NOT to do? Well, we didn’t expect this, and we have to commend him.
We also hope other celebs who say the wrong thing follow his lead.
Ch-ch-check out the video (above) to see his obviously heartfelt remarks.
