Joycelyn Savage is NOT being held hostage by R. Kelly — or, at least, that’s what she wants you to believe!
Following her family’s press conference about the hitmaker’s alleged sex cult, which they claim has taken a hold of their 21-year-old, the young woman has chosen to address her fam’s slanderous accusations. As we previously reported, the Ignition singer has been accused of being the “puppet master” behind an abusive sex cult where six young women are under his control at his Atlanta and Chicago homes.

Whoa. Nonetheless, Miz Savage has revealed to TMZ that she’s doing just fine and doesn’t feel like she’s been brainwashed. The young lady commented:
“I am in a happy place with my life and I’m not being brainwashed, or anything like that… I just want everyone to know, my parents and everybody in the world, I am totally fine. I’m happy where I’m at. And everything’s okay with me!”
Of course, this confession comes shortly after R. Kelly’s own denial against the Savage family’s allegations. When asked directly if she’s being held against her will and/or made to do anything she doesn’t want to, Joycelyn quipped:
“Oh no. Not at all. Never been held hostage or anything like that, in that nature.”
Huh. So why are her parents so concerned for her well-being??
Apparently, Savage hasn’t been on speaking terms with her family for the last six months as they only communicate via the occasional text. Although, it sounds like Joycelyn’s falling out with her parents has something do with their belief that she’s suffering from Stockholm Syndrome.
The interview took a bizarre turn when Joycelyn REFUSED to confirm her whereabouts and wouldn’t comment on whether or not she’s allowed to leave the residence she now lives in. Oof.
