In case you don’t know what we’re talking about, Mayor Bloomberg deemed the state of Occupy Wall Street a health hazard that needed to be cleaned up. So in went the hoses!
Bloomberg said the protestors could come back without their camping equipment — which would basically kill the 24/7 protest.
But thanks to OWS’ legal team, a judge has issued a temporary restraining order preventing the City or Brookfield Properties from refusing entry to anyone coming back with tents or camping gear.
So now the protestors are marching right back in — tents in one hand, MacBooks in the other!!
There will be a hearing later today which could end the movement once and for all (at that location anyways), but we have a feeling the 99% isn’t done yet either way.
