Elisabeth Hasselbeck came out as the victor in a lawsuit filed against her claiming that she had ripped off Susan Hassett in her cookbook The G-Free Diet: A Gluten-Free Survival Guide.
Hassett asserted that Hasselbeck had violated her copyright, but the judge decided that she didn’t have enough evidence to prove it.
Said Hasselbeck’s lawyer:
“Today’s ruling is a complete victory. It confirms that Elisabeth wrote her best-selling book The G-Free Diet based on her own personal experiences and did not copy a thing from the plaintiff.”
Congrats on the win, bb!
