Julia Beats Out Julie As The Bestseller!

The late, great Julia Child still knows how to sell a cookbook, with a little help from Meryl Streep.
Since the release of the biopic Julie & Julia, Julia Child’s classic book, Mastering the Art of French Cooking, has been selling out everywhere, topping the charts of Amazon.com and Barnes&Noble.com, and severely outshining the Julie Powell’s memoir that the movie was based on.
In fact, the $40 book actually sold out on Amazon yesterday, so another 75,000 copies were ordered immediately!
Wow! Way to go, Julia!
