There’s no denying it!
Julia Collins is smart.
Julia Collins is rich.
And Julia Collins has made history this week, becoming not only the winningest woman in Jeopardy! history, but she’s one game away from taking the title of second place for most consecutive wins by ANY contestant, EVER!
Last night, 31-year-old Collins won her 19th game, bringing her total winnings to a jaw-dropping $410,000! That also ties her with 2005 winner David Madden, who also won 19 games in a row.
The only person to have a longer streak is Ken Jennings, who of course went on an unheard of 74 game run that netted him $2,520,700!
Her good fortune couldn’t have come at a better time either! Julia has been jobless since the beginning of the year!
But she foresaw her success on the game show circuit a LONG time ago! She predicted she’d be a Jeopardy! champ in her eighth-grade yearbook!
Julia explained:
“I was a pretty nerdy kid. I liked to shout out the answers to the TV like everybody else does.├óΓé¼┬¥
Tonight, Julia will be shouting out her answers while trying to stay alive for her 20th win!
Our fingers are firmly crossed for you, girl!
