A little competition never hurt anyone!
Okay, this is probably completely untrue, but this saying still definitely applies to Julia Roberts and Oprah!
When the SAG Awards nominations came out, we were worried that these two friends would be in hot water after they both got a nom for Supporting Female Actor!
Consequently, we fully expected Vegas to release the odds of who’d win in a fight to the death between the two.
However, in a recent interview, Julia said that the pair of megastars would not engage in a tense standoff the likes of which hasn’t been seen since the Cuban Missile Crisis:
“We’ve spoken. We’re good. We’re fine. We’re going to get through this just fine. Honestly, not to speak for her├óΓé¼ΓÇ¥Oprah Winfrey, she’ so fabulous├óΓé¼ΓÇ¥but we’re both just thrilled. This is such a beautiful moment.”
We’re glad that the two won’t be going Mean Girls on each other! What good friends!
