Dame Julie Andrews will return to the UK stage for the first time in 30 years! The iconic singer will sing songs from her stage and screen hits on May 8th at London’s O2 Arena while accompanied by an ensemble of five and the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra.
She has barely sung since her 1997 throat surgery that impaired her vocal cords, yet she has pioneered treatment to rehabilitate her voice.
“To perform once again in my homeland on the London stage will be a wonderful moment – it is where it all began for me,” stated Andrews. “I am so excited to be able to share a brand new work with audiences.”
