Julie Chrisley Says She Was ‘Nervous’ To Reunite With Husband Todd After Serving 2 Years In Prison Without Any Communication

Julie Chrisley is opening up about the moments leading up to her reunion with Todd.

As we’ve been following, the Chrisley Knows Best alums received a presidential pardon from Donald Trump, freeing them of their respective prison sentences on bank fraud and tax evasion charges. And in their first joint sit-down interview since being sprung from the pen, the matriarch got real about what was going through her mind before reuniting with her husband.

During an interview with ABC News set to release on Monday, Julie explained that she actually felt “nervous” to see Todd after more than two years apart:

“I was a little nervous. Just because, you know, you think, ‘Oh my gosh, I’ve been away this long.’ But then, when I saw him, it was as if no time had passed.”

We can only imagine how bizarre that must have felt! The pair got married in 1996 and have spent minimal time apart, so two years is MAJOR.

During a separate interview with Fox News, Todd and Julie revealed they were apart for a total of 28 months… And during that time, they were allowed ZERO communication with each other. Todd explained:

“I have missed Julie every breath that I took. And missed my children, I could at least talk to them. But when you’re in prison and your spouse is in prison, you’re not allowed to talk.”

That’s rough! He added:

“I was never away from her because she was in my spirit the entire time. I thought of her every second of my day. And so when I hugged her the first time, it was like I was home.”

Very sweet!

Reactions, Perezcious readers??
